Kyra Minturn
Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born August 19 1965. She is an American actor and producer. Her most well-known character is that of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. For her portrayal of Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. After the conclusion of the seventh season the show was cancelled on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also remembered for her role as Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles in films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's The Ones (1992) The Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
